Located just 12 km away from Kandy, Bellwood boasts a cool, Nuwara Eliya-like climate. You can reach it via two primary scenic routes: 

Route 1 (The Fastest Way - 18 km): Drive from Kandy to Ampitiya, head towards Thalathuoya, and proceed via Moragolla directly to Bellwood. 

Route 2 (The Most Scenic Way - 26 km): Take the Galaha Road near the University of Peradeniya, pass through Deltota, and connect via the Galaha-Moragolla Road. This route treats you to absolutely gorgeous natural vistas. 

By Public Transport: Catch a bus heading to Galaha or Thalathuoya from near the Bogambara Prison in Kandy. Once you reach Thalathuoya, you can easily hire a three-wheeler to take you up to Bellwood.
