"Madu River" in Balapitiya: An Unspoiled Mangrove Paradise
This beautiful destination is located in Balapitiya, within
the Galle District of the Southern Province. Highly popular among both local

How to Get to Madu River

Kurundugahahetekma interchange, and drive towards Balapitiya.

Traditional Fishing via "Ja-Kotu"
During the daytime, you will notice unique bamboo fences constructed across the river, known as "Ja-Kotu."
